According to a video that was posted on the Facebook page of the Wells Police Department, a dog was discovered fastened to the roof of its home, rendering it unable to respond or move when its owners called for help.
As per the records, a firefighter gained the confidence of a canine companion by skillfully ascending to the rooftop and soothing its distress. In a heartwarming twist, the firefighter gently carried the furry friend through a window, rescuing it from harm’s way and returning it to the warmth and security of the fireplace. Just before entering the safety of the indoors, the dog expressed its immense appreciation by affectionately bestowing a grateful kiss upon the cheek of the valiant firefighter.
