In the city of Antofagasta, Chile, an unfortunate incident occurred at the La Chimba Rubbish Dump where a distressed dog found itself in a predicament. By some twist of fate, the poor creature managed to get its head wedged inside a car wheel, rendering it helpless and in dire need of help. Fortunately, a rescue team was able to step in and save the day for this furry friend.
Additionally, the footage capturing the incident involving the animal circulated widely, portraying the gradual liberation of the female canine’s head from the wheel. Following the successful extrication achieved through the aid of petroleum jelly, the dog was promptly transported to a nearby veterinary clinic for a thorough examination.
According to reports from local news agencies, it has been revealed that the adorable pooch in question is an 8-month-old female pup. The heroic rescue operation was carried out jointly by the dedicated team from the Sterilisation and Responsible Pet Ownership Program of Antofagasta and a brave group of firefighters.
According to Eliel Morales, a veterinarian, the dog in question is a young female puppy who resided in the vicinity of the garbage dump. Upon the arrival of the emergency responders, the canine exhibited aggressive behavior, necessitating the administration of sedatives by the authorities to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Eliel further mentioned that the dog did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
Morales mentioned that the canine would undergo the process of sterilization and receive necessary vaccinations before being returned to its original location. Morales further elaborated on the reasons preventing the dog from being adopted.
According to his statement, “Since it is untamed, it cannot be domesticated and holds no practical value for mankind.”
