Each day, Fronky the Bull Mastiff has a routine he follows. As the morning begins, he stands by the door, begging for his mother to allow him outside. Once his wish is granted, he patiently sits in the front yard, waiting for what’s to come.
Fronky patiently anticipates the arrival of his dear companion, Shaun, who happens to be a mail carrier. Ever since Fronky was a mere seven-week-old pup, Shaun has been his closest pal. Their friendship is unbreakable, and Fronky’s day brightens up every time he sees her.
According to Eileen, Fronky’s mother, whenever Shaun is at her truck preparing to come over, she notices Fronky’s tail wagging eagerly. Although Fronky has now grown to a massive size of 180 pounds, he remains a well-behaved dog that never ventures beyond his side of the fence, despite being capable of leaping over it effortlessly. Luckily, Shaun can still shower him with affection and attention. Eileen suspects that Fronky’s presence may provide Shaun with the much-needed puppy love she misses after losing her chocolate lab.
According to Eileen, spending some time with Fronky has been beneficial for her. She believes that taking a short break with Fronky helps her and gives her something to look forward to. Shaun and Fronky share a great bond and Shaun visits Fronky on her days off. Eileen feels that Shaun has become a part of their family as she forgets to visit them sometimes, and they eagerly wait to see her every day. Fronky gets extremely excited when he hears Shaun’s voice and becomes uncontrollable.
According to Hill’s Pets, it is unusual for a Bullmastiff like Fronky to show such affection towards Shaun. The website states that Bullmastiffs are usually kind and loving towards family members due to their calm and easygoing personalities, which makes them well-suited for families with well-behaved children. However, when it comes to strangers, Bullmastiffs tend to be cautious and wary. Therefore, it is likely that Fronky sees Shaun as a part of his family, which explains the strong bond between them. Eileen, Shaun’s owner, expressed her gratitude that the love between Fronky and Shaun is mutual and that they both look forward to spending time together.
