After a few days, he was able to return to Care More Animal Hospital, where the dedicated staff is tirelessly working to provide him with the best possible care and assistance. Martin found herself deeply affected by Taka’s situation.
“I always strive to treat all of my patients with equal care and compassion, but there was something about his case that touched my heart a little deeper,” Martin shared. “When he was brought in, he was in excruciating pain, and it broke my heart to see him like that.”
After Taka arrived at the veterinary hospital, Martin reached out to his family to provide updates on his condition. Eventually, Taka’s family made the difficult decision to entrust Martin with his care due to his deteriorating health. From that point on, Martin vowed to be more than just Taka’s veterinarian – she became his mother figure.
Since the hospital was not open 24/7, Martin decided to take Taka home with her at night so that he wouldn’t have to endure the loneliness of sleeping alone. The following day, Martin even climbed into Taka’s kennel at the veterinary hospital, and they slept side by side.

“He’s a fan of belly rubs and has a serious affinity for food, which is why we jokingly call him a pig,” Martin disclosed with a smile. “But what’s even more endearing is that he also loves to give hugs.”
Martin’s bond with Taka has grown significantly, leading him to contemplate the idea of permanently adopting the adorable canine. However, the mother, who already has five other dogs and a seven-month-old baby, acknowledges that her household might not provide the ideal environment for Taka, who requires extra care and attention.
