In my opinion, all cats possess beautiful eyes. However, there are some cats whose eyes are so brilliant and expressive that they seem to captivate you. Coby the cat, a British Shorthair from California, is definitely one of those cats. His dazzling blue eyes sparkle and shine, and the dark accents of his luxurious silver coat make his amazing eyes stand out even more.
Coby and his blues music have gained a massive following worldwide. His love for the camera and good looks have catapulted him to celebrity status in the cat world. However, according to his owner, Coby is not just a pretty face, he is a sweet and affectionate boy. His eyes always seem to be accentuated by eyeliner, or should I say “guyliner”.
According to his website, CobyTheCat.com, the owner of Coby shares what he’s really like when he’s not posing for the camera. “I’m playful, sassy, and affectionate—if you deserve it and/or treats are involved. I love to snuggle, steal the covers, and play hide and seek. I take food very seriously, and I can get a bit testy if my meals aren’t served on time. Unlike other cats, I enjoy the water; particularly splashing in it and watching my mom clean it up. I like to pose and strut my fluff for the camera. But only on my terms.”
Coby, who is almost five years old, enjoys a comfortable life with his human companion. As for the origin of his name, the website explains that it honors cobalt blue, the color of his famous eyes. Coby’s personality is just as vibrant as his baby blue fur, and he apparently has a fondness for tuna as well.
When he’s not posing as a cat model, he enjoys lounging on the bed and catching up on his sleep. As handsome as he is, it’s important to get your rest!
